Outil de réindexation automatique
Nous avons créé un nouvel outil de réindexation automatique pour le serveur memoQ. Son objectif principal est d’aider au maintien d’un bon niveau de performance de la base de données SQL en effectuant une défragmentation régulière des index. Dans les bases de données, l'utilisation des index et le maintien de leur bonne qualité sont essentiels car la fragmentation peut entraîner des baisses de performance SQL.
La structure et le comportement d’utilisation entraînent souvent une fragmentation des tables de base de données memoQ, ce qui entraîne une baisse de la performance SQL.
La fonction principale de l’outil de réindexation automatique est de créer une tâche régulière dans l’agent SQL pour effectuer la défragmentation. De plus, il peut effectuer une défragmentation et un nettoyage ponctuels de la tâche et de ses tables temporaires.
Comme l’édition SQL Express ne prend pas en charge la fonctionnalité de l’agent SQL, qui est responsable de la planification des tâches, l’outil de réindexation automatique est configuré pour le faire à l’aide du planificateur de tâches Windows.
L’outil de réindexation automatique est disponible séparément à partir de la page Téléchargements. Il est utilisable avec toutes les versions de memoQ.
Traduction automatique
De nombreux utilisateurs ont recours aux plugins de traduction automatique (TA) de memoQ. Il est donc naturel que nous les améliorions continuellement en fonction de leurs idées et de leurs besoins. Dans memoQ 9.12, nous avons intégré les plugins NiuTrans et Globalese. Nous proposons également des mises à jour des plugins de Google Cloud Translation Advanced MT et de SYSTRAN.
Nouveaux plugins de TA : NiuTrans et Globalese
NiuTrans est un moteur de traduction automatique infonuagique. Créé en 2012, NiuTrans est utilisé dans plus de 300 paires de langues (centrées principalement autour du chinois). Jusqu'alors pris en charge comme plugin privé, mais il est désormais public.
Pour le configurer, il vous suffit de créer un profil sur le site Web NiuTrans afin de recevoir une clé API. Lorsque vous commencez votre projet de localisation, allez à Paramètres de TA dans memoQ et entrez l’URL du service, votre clé API, les langues source et cible et le nom du profil. NiuTrans est alors prêt à être utilisé!
Globalese n’est pas un plugin de traduction automatique (TA) traditionnel. En effet, Globalese n’est pas un moteur de TA, mais une plateforme permettant de développer des moteurs. Jusqu’à maintenant, memoQ ne le prenait en charge que comme plugin privé, mais depuis la version 9.12, il est accessible en tant que plugin public (c.-à-d. comme partie intégrante de l’installation de memoQ).
Vous pouvez configurer directement les moteurs Globalese dans memoQ. Téléchargez ce plugin, ainsi que tous les autres plugins de TA disponibles, directement à partir de l’interface utilisateur de memoQ.
Mises à jour de notre plugin de TA de Google Cloud Translation Advanced
Il existe deux nouvelles fonctionnalités de Google Cloud Translation Advanced. Tout d’abord, selon les exigences actuelles du RGPD, les utilisateurs peuvent désormais sélectionner n’importe quel point de terminaison régional utilisé par leur compte Google Cloud, y compris le point de terminaison européen de l’API de Google Translate Advanced.
Ensuite, la fonctionnalité de glossaire du plugin a été modifiée. Jusqu’à présent, il fallait configurer un glossaire sur la plateforme Google Cloud et le charger dans le plugin de TA pour pouvoir accéder aux sources pertinentes. Pour utiliser le glossaire dans le plugin de TA Google Advanced de memoQ, il fallait posséder quelques connaissances techniques et effectuer quelques tâches d’arrière-plan.
Dans memoQ 9.12, nous avons facilité le processus. Ainsi, même sans connaissances techniques avancées, vous pouvez accéder à vos glossaires directement à partir du plugin en ouvrant la boîte de dialogue Créer une ressource de glossaire afin de configurer vos paramètres et de saisir les données de votre glossaire. Une fois que le fichier du glossaire est téléversé dans Google Cloud, vous pouvez, à l’aide du plugin memoQ, le transformer en ressource, le rendre disponible pour la TA de Google et l’afficher dans la liste des glossaires du plugin memoQ.
Mise à jour du plugin SYSTRAN : attribution de profils aux paires de langues
Lorsque vous configurez le plugin de traduction automatique SYSTRAN dans un projet memoQ, vous devez choisir un profil (un peu comme un modèle de TA personnalisé). Les profils sont habituellement créés pour des paires de langues précises.
Dans les versions précédentes de memoQ, vous ne pouviez choisir qu’un seul profil dans un menu déroulant, souvent sans connaître la paire de langues associée à votre profil. Il fallait savoir exactement quel profil vous cherchiez pour le configurer.
Dans memoQ 9.12, nous vous avons facilité la tâche en introduisant les options de langue source et cible dans la boîte de dialogue des paramètres du plugin. Vous n’avez qu’à sélectionner les langues source et cible dans les listes, et memoQ proposera seulement les profils qui correspondent aux langues sélectionnées – inutile de se souvenir du nom du profil! Et, surtout, vous pouvez maintenant associer plusieurs paires de langues à leurs profils respectifs. Ainsi, une seule ressource de paramètres de TA suffit pour que SYSTRAN fonctionne dans tous vos projets dont la combinaison de langues source et cible correspond à une paire répertoriée.
Autres fonctionnalités demandées par les utilisateurs
Toutes les nouvelles fonctionnalités de memoQ 9.12 ont été créées pour réduire le temps de traduction et faciliter la tâche à nos utilisateurs, afin de les rendre plus productifs dans leur travail. Désormais, il est possible de définir les valeurs par défaut des nouveaux termes dans QTerm, d'exclure des segments de la propagation automatique, de détecter automatiquement si une concordance provient du texte source ou cible lors d'une recherche, d'ignorer les éléments à ne pas traduire dans le contrôle de la qualité et de voir des nombres sur les balises internes courtes.
Valeurs par défaut des nouveaux termes pour les bases terminologiques QTerm
Dans l'application de bureau memoQ, vous pouvez choisir les paramètres par défaut pour la correspondance des préfixes et la sensibilité de la casse de toutes les nouvelles entrées d'une base terminologique à partir de la fenêtre des valeurs par défaut des nouveaux termes. À l’avenir, vous pourrez faire de même dans QTerm, et les utilisateurs disposant des autorisations suffisantes pourront modifier les propriétés de la base terminologique (en d'autres termes. avec des droits d’administrateur sur une base terminologique donnée, il sera possible de définir des valeurs par défaut pour les nouveaux termes).
Exclusion d'un segment de la propagation automatique
La propagation automatique des répétitions peut se révéler utile et permettre de gagner du temps. Toutefois, il arrive qu’un segment doive être traduit différemment à un endroit précis du texte, même si toutes les autres occurrences du même segment sont identiques. Cela peut créer des erreurs de traduction susceptibles de passer inaperçues.
Dans memoQ 9.12, vous pouvez choisir une ou plusieurs occurrences d’une traduction particulière à exclure de la propagation automatique. Une fois que vous avez établi une exception, une petite étiquette apparaîtra pour indiquer que le segment est exclu de la propagation automatique. Tous les participants au projet qui travaillent sur le même document verront la nouvelle étiquette; vous n’aurez donc pas à vous soucier d’utiliser la bonne traduction dans ce cas précis, et les autres pourront supprimer l’exception ou en ajouter de nouvelles pour d’autres occurrences.
Concordance de l’éditeur de traduction : détection automatique de la source/cible
Lorsque vous effectuez une recherche de concordances à partir de la grille de traduction, memoQ détecte maintenant automatiquement si le segment en question apparaît dans le texte source ou cible. De plus, la case à cocher Chercher dans la cible a été remplacée par les cases d'option Source et Cible, qui changent aussi automatiquement lorsque vous ouvrez la concordance à partir de la grille, indiquant ainsi clairement où la concordance est effectuée.
Ignorer les éléments à ne pas traduire pendant la vérification orthographique et le contrôle de la qualité
Vous pouvez définir des éléments à ne pas traduire (comme des acronymes ou des noms de marque) dans votre projet de traduction, mais la vérification orthographique les percevra quand même comme des erreurs et vous devrez les ignorer pendant le processus d’assurance de la qualité. Dans memoQ 9.12, nous présentons une nouvelle fonctionnalité qui permet d’ignorer les éléments à ne pas traduire dans la vérification orthographique, ce qui aide à réduire le temps de traduction. Cette fonctionnalité se trouve dans la fenêtre Paramètres de contrôle de la qualité ou dans la boîte de dialogue de la vérification orthographique.
Nombres affichés dans les balises internes courtes
Dans certaines industries, les fichiers sources comportent des balises internes longues, qui sont parfois imbriquées les unes dans les autres. il peut arriver que ces balises doivent être traduites dans certains projets (comme dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo). Toutefois, il est parfois difficile de travailler avec ces balises internes, car elles créent des coupures dans le texte principal et compliquent la lecture des segments en contexte.
memoQ comportait déjà une option de balises internes courtes, mais dans la version 9.12, nous l’avons modifiée pour que les balises internes présentent aussi des nombres. Cela permet de voir le texte en entier sans que les balises internes longues nuisent à la lecture, et aussi de visualiser rapidement quelles balises d’ouverture et de fermeture vont ensemble dans le texte.
